Accountants Act 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section * of the Accountants Act 2004, the * hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. This/These Regulations may be cited as the Accountants (Public Accountants) (Amendment) Rules and shall come into operation on 30 July 2024.

Amendment of rule 6A

2. Rule 6A of the Accountants (Public Accountants) Rules (R 1) is amended —

(b)

by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (1)(a), the following sub-paragraph:

by inserting, immediately after text - 0 sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (1)(a), the following image and table:

Col 2”;

(d)

by deleting paragraphs (b) to (g) of paragraph (1); and

(e)

by deleting paragraphs (2) to (5).

New rule 6AB

3. The Accountants (Public Accountants) Rules are amended by inserting, immediately after rule 6A, the following rule:

“Test insert subsection

6AB. insert footnote without quote.
