Rapid Transit Systems
(Sample A) (Amendment) Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Rapid Transit Systems Act 1995, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Rapid Transit Systems (Sample A) (Amendment) Notification 2024 and shall come into operation on 15 April 2024.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Rapid Transit Systems (Sample A) Notification 2024 (G.N. No. S 120/2024) (called in this Notification the principal Notification) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (b) of the definition of “engineering plan”;

(b)

by inserting, at the end of paragraph (c) of the definition of “engineering plan”, the word “or”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (c) of the definition of “engineering plan”, the following paragraph:

“(d)	this is a test;”.

Amendment of paragraph 3

3. Paragraph 3(1) of the principal Notification is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “must” and substituting the word “shall”; and
(b)	by deleting sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (a).

Amendment of paragraph 4

4. Paragraph 4 of the principal Notification is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “appointed under regulation 11(1)(a) or (b)(i) to supervise the development” in sub-paragraph (1)(a); and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (3), the following sub-paragraph:

“(4) This is a new subsection level testing.”.
