In exercise of the powers conferred by section * of the SL word style testing revEd 2024, the * hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the SL word style testing revEd and shall come into operation on 17 January 2024.
Test
2.—(1)  Where —
(2)  Where, on the appointed day, any matter was in the course of being heard or investigated or had been heard or investigated by a committee acting under due authority but no order, ruling or direction had been made thereon, the committee shall complete the hearing or investigation and shall make such order, ruling or direction as it could have made under the authority vested in it before that day.
(3)  Any order, ruling or direction made by a committee under this section shall be treated as an order, a ruling or a direction of the Agency and have the same force or effect as if it had been made by the Agency pursuant to the authority vested in the Agency under this Act.
Notification of change in particulars, etc.
3.—(1)  Where —
(a)a licensed financial adviser ceases to act as a financial adviser; or
(b)a change occurs in any matter in relation to a licensed financial adviser, particulars of which are required to be entered in the register of licensees under section XX,
the licensed financial adviser shall, not later than 14 days after the occurrence of that event, furnish particulars of the event to the Authority in the prescribed form.
(2)  Where —
(a)a licensed representative ceases to be the representative of a licensed financial adviser; or
(b)a change occurs in any matter in relation to a licensed representative, particulars of which are required to be entered in the register of licensees under section XX,
the licensed representative shall, not later than 14 days after the occurrence of that event, furnish particulars of the event to the Authority in the prescribed form.
(3)  A person who ceases to act as a licensed financial adviser or a licensed representative, as the case may be, shall immediately thereafter return the licence to the Authority.
(4)  Any person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes this section shall be guilty of an offence.
